Benny Burger, Melb CBD (Re-Invited)

Following the successful Benny Burger in Richmond with the famous “Ethical Burger”,
this burger shop opened the new branch in Little Collins, Melbourne CBD early 2018.
Owned by Shannon Bennett, famous Vue De Monde’s chef; He introduced the “Ethical way” to make a burger meaning that all ingredients are all organically or ethically produced.
We’re glad to be re-invited in Benny Burger shop, Little Collins.

As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendly assistant manager / chef / customer staff on that day.
He was really friendly and very passionate about the burger when we had a chat with him!

The burger shop was very cute with sleek and modern look/interior design tucked in Little Collins street.
Though the place wasn’t too spacious compared to Richmond one but it’s enough for a small group;
In addition, a few tables and seats are also available for the outdoor spot.
The atmosphere and vibe were very cosy and comfortable.
The customer service was outstanding and exceptional.

We ordered:
– The Tradie (125g Wagyu beef, bacon, fried egg, local cheddar, bbq sauce, mayo)
*We requested to add their Benny sauce.
The beef patty was perfectly grilled and seasoned. It was moist, juicy and had a balance taste; Yummm, It’s very delicious.
The bun was fluffy, soft and crispy on the edge.
The fried egg was also nicely cooked, everything was perfectly executed, mixed and matched with the protein, cheese, bbq sauce and Benny sauce.
You can’t go wrong with this Burger!

– Cluck Off (Free range organic chicken fillet, bacon, local cheddar, lettuce, tomato, firecracker mayo)
The portion was pretty generous.
The chicken fillet was perfectly seasoned and cooked.
It’s a different texture and taste going on from bacon and chicken when you’re having the Cluck Off burger, very flavorful!
The chicken was tender, soft and crispy – perfectly battered.
The taste was balance; each component and ingredients compliment each other.
It’s definitely a recommended burger for you to try when visiting this burger shop.

– Vue Pressed Juice Apple and Orange

– Spiked Shaked Strawberry Bacardi
The Spiked Shaked Strawberry served in the humbly looking recycle glass, again don’t just the book from the cover. I know it doesn’t have an appealing look, BUT the taste was stunning.
The texture of spiked shakes was very soft, thick, not too icy and balance.
The hint of Bacardi compliments the strawberry taste perfectly. Loved this drink!

– Firecrackers
Don’t get intimidated by the photo showing many red chilis and the green chili relish.
It wasn’t too hot, it’s still bearable for those who couldn’t eat spicy.
The dish was nicely presented, colorful and very appealing.
The fries were perfectly deep fried and not greasy.
The Firecrackers was served warm and it was perfectly seasoned.
You should try this one when you’re visiting Benny Burger because it’s one of their signature dishes! Two thumbs up!!

Overall, we’re so impressed with their burgers for the second time.
So what are you waiting for? Good selection of burgers with their creative and attractive burger name, let’s go to Benny Burger.
