Pizza Hub is located in less quiet area 5 minutes from Chapel Street.
The place is designed for quick eats and mostly for takeaways but nevertheless there are enough seats for dine in.
Need to note tho that all tables are high tables and might not be suitable if you dine in with kids.
We started with their Calamari – battered and deep fried fresh Calamari was seasoned wonderfully.
The calamari is still moist and tender and you have a crispy outer without being to dry.
A simple dish but was executed beautifully.
We eat this with their Italian Beer – Balandin Birra Nationale made with Italian Spices that is so great as an aperitif.
Pizza Hub offers traditional pizzas and also more Pizza Hub’s personalities into the pizza under Hubs Pizza.
We were eyeing on Angela since we were keen to try their Nduja – particularly spicy, spreadable pork salami from Italy.
This tomato base pizza with ham, sausages, fresh tomatoes, bacon and fior di latte was simply wonderful.
We instantly hoooked after first bite.
The base and crust was definitely fab, no complain at all and no wonder why they have sooo many Deliveroo orders in the shop during our visit.
There is a hint of spiciness and the depth of savory taste from various proteins on toppings created a really addictive taste 🙂
Definitely a must try especially if you like a tad spicy stuff.
We also tried their Fried Calzone – The Arrogant which consists of Beef Ragu, Ham, Bechamel, Smoked Mozzarella, Basil and Parmigiano.
The crust was golden brown fried into perfection and we thought it will be greasy but it was not the case.
The crust was fried so beautifully but the inner dough was well done and soft.
The outer fried dough enveloped the aroma from all the fillings inside and as you cut it, the aroma just bursting out and the goey mozzarella and bechamel flowing out.
The taste is just great another must try if you like Calzone.
Oh and yeah we cant just miss their Cannoli with homemade orange infused sweet ricotta topped with pistachio and chocolate.
The overall taste was not overpoweringly sweet and we enjoyed hint of orange in the ricotta. Something to balance the sweetness of the ricotta.
Note: We’d like to say thank you to Pizza Hub’s team for having us.

Yay: Oh the dough. I think all of their pizzas will taste great since they have a really good dough.
