You can even opt for the ala carte ones if you need more of your favorite meals πŸ™‚

We started with drinks from their preview menu: Anise Martini and Pomegranate Sour.
If you opt for a fresh fruity taste try their pomegranate that contains Pama pomegranate liqueur, vanilla vodka, lemon and foamy egg white and cherries on top. Another interesting one would be their gin and arak base martini with star anise, lime and mint.

When our first course was served, all comes together at the same time and we had these variety of appetizers come in smaller plates for sharing.
Love how colorful and variety of taste served in the course.
The half moon shaped dumpling like is the eggplant bun – so soft and tad bit chewy which I like and flavorsome eggplant inside.

maha-2

Fresh pickled carrot which we kind of underestimate in the first look but mate, it is not your average carrot with yogurt.
You have to try yourselves to understand. The hummus is the best kind of hummus which is the original JUST hummus.
Love how smooth the texture perfect with the fluffy and golden bouncy brown flatbread. Their sambousek also definitely YUMMY πŸ™‚

Last but not least my fave, wagyu basturma with whipped yogurt and charred eggplant.
Thinly sliced and cured beautifully without too overpowering and the texture is just perfect.
Love the combination of entrees – light and fresh and smartly introduced the beautiful distinct side of Middle Eastern cuisines. We truly love them all.

Charred baby corn, smoked almonds, saffron, salted ricotta

Second course consists mainly mains. My highlights would be their toasted bread crumbed eggplants, scotch fillet, stuffed chicken wings and also the rice and also the baby corn! Yes it is everything!
Scotch fillet was beautifully cooked medium rare, so tender and seasoned beautifully complements the hummus.

We somehow developed this love for hummus now. Their eggplant is just divine, this is my favorite.
My asian blood just automatically wants to pair this with the aged rice and it was so yum. Last but not least, their charred baby corn – simple dish done right.
Elevated to be that yummy.

Charred baby corn, smoked almonds, saffron, salted ricotta

Finally, we had ‘Sutlac’ (rice pudding) toasted rice ice cream, honey & lemon puffed rice. Elegantly presented and not overly sweet.
The pudding texture contains no rice in it and has similar texture like panna cotta.

We truly enjoyed our lunch experience at MAHA and our hearts just happy from the great foods.
Most of the foods are definitely must try and totally yummmy! The service is excellent as expected no less from MAHA restaurant.
Really recommended and we definitely will come back for more πŸ™‚

Note: We’d like to say thank you to Maha’s team for having us.
