Hooorraaayyy!!! We won again the raffle organised by our fellow blogger, @stellyyeats and we got a $50 meal voucher at The Noodies, Hawthorn.
We’re thinking to redeem this meal voucher in the next couple weeks on the weekend.
We checked their instagram and review on Zomato (good review), we couldn’t resist to try this ASAP and decided to visit The Noodies on that day. LOL!!
As soon as we arrived, we’re amazed with the cool wall art, modern and minimalist design.
The ambience and atmosphere were cosy and calm.
The customer service was top-notch and genuinely friendly.
The noodle shop wasn’t too spacious but it’s enough and a perfect size to have with family or a small group of people.
For the starter, we had Chilled Milk Tea, Warm Oolong Tea and The Loot (dumplings).
The Loot has two options vegetarian or prawn pan-fried dumplings, We opted for prawn dumplings.
The dumplings were freshly made in-house and perfectly pan-fried. It wasn’t oily or greasy.
It was slightly crisp on the edge and perfectly cooked inside.
We enjoyed the rich and flavourful juice coming from the filling.
Spring onions and sesame seeds sprinkled on the top of the dumplings to add the texture of this dish.
– The Heirloom **Most favourite**
Twice-cooked beef briskets, tendons, pickles, bok choy, coriander, chicken-based broth and rice noodles.
– Hooked on You
Pan-fried salmon, tofu, bok choy, creamy fish-based broth, rice noodles and spring onion.
Both of rice noodles were cooked al dente and spot on.
For us, the highlight for tonight was The Heirloom and it’s a MUST to order when you’re visiting this noodle place.
The beef brisket was really tender, soft and rich taste.
The soup broth wasn’t oily, clean and not over-seasoned. It’s something that you can have it every day.
You’ll feel how clean, fresh and tasty this soup broth comparing other Noodle House.
For fish lover, you can opt with the Hooked on You; The salmon was perfectly seasoned and seared.
The soup base was creamy; Tofu and bok choy were a perfect option to tone down the creamy flavour.
The salmon was still the main highlight of the dish.
Everything was prepared and cooked fresh which was thumbs up; On the other side, you might find that the dish was slowly served.
Honestly, you won’t notice that due to the cosy atmosphere and friendly customer staffs who were genuinely nice and
Overall, we absolute had a stunning night great food, cosy atmosphere, top-notch customer service and had a MEAL VOUCHER!!
