Poolhouse Cafe

Poolhouse Coffee, Melb CBD (Invited)

Poolhouse Coffee is located just beside Melbourne City Baths, we supposed thatโ€™s where the name coming from. Tucked in the little alley in Franklin Street, this petite coffee shop sure captured our hearts with its minimalist and shop full of sunlight and greeneries here and there. You can opt to eat outdoor to if you need to enjoy more sun.

We started with their coffee, a cappuccino for Mr Epi and mocha for myself. Was really keen to try their coffee especially that they roast their own coffee and also sell them in the house. Everything was so nice ๐Ÿ™‚ Other than that, we also tried their iced tea – Berry Delicious. Freshly brewed and served cold – enjoying a hint of berry without being very sweet. If you also enjoy a bit of fizz in your drink you might like their Peach ice tea.

We tried their reuben and classic ham and cheese toast. Those would be my go to choice for fast and yet filling and fresh options. Great sourdough, perfectly toasted and the fillings are generous. They also made chicken paper rolls with vegetables inside. Another quick meal options for lunch as well. Love how they were freshly made and the sauce is just yummooo without being too overpowering.

This is definitely my go to place if I want to just have a me time and quite serene ambiance in reading books and just catching up with friends over great coffee. Definitely recommended and we will definitely come back with our friends.
