Chichi House tucked in a quite Willesden Road, just 5 minutes walk from Hughesdale Station (Cranbourne, Pakenham line).
This small cafe offers creative Asian fusion brunch dishes.
If you are driving, plenty of free parking in front of the cafe so getting there was a bliss.
This small cafe is well decorated with plenty of natural light inside.

Cappuccino
We started our morning by ordering our usual cappuccino.
Decent coffee with no complain at all.
We ordered the first food that caught our eyes, Cheeseburger Spring Rolls!
Unsuspecting crispy rolls with all the cheeseburgers elements inside from the mustard, cheesy minced beef and dash of pickle flavor that you would expect from a burger.
It was served with mashed bacon tots, fried egg and salad on the side.
Love how it paired with bacon tots to give mimic the role of usual chips on the side of a cheeseburger.
Corn & Zucchini Fritters with roasted turmeric cauliflower & pomegranate hand tossed salad, creamy beetroot labneh & poached egg.
Love the corn and zucchini fritters. Unlike the usual fritters which tend to be more soft texture on the inside, Chichi offers a bit bouncier fritters texture which for us works more with the crunchier fritters texture.
Love how everything goes well together 🙂
Beef Rendang Rolls is a fusion of Indonesian food with classic roll.
Rendang is pretty much slow-cooked beef brisket in authentic curry sauce usually served with homemade tangy pickle.
Chichi serves this Rendang together with crispy potato chips sandwiched between soft rolls.
Love how tender the beef brisket and so flavoursome.
Would love a tad crunchier pickle on the inside since the tangy pickle was a bit too soft.
Overall, the dish was enjoyable 🙂
Finally for the sweet side, we ordered their Ricotta Pancakes.
Their pancakes were served with berry coulis, mixed of seasonal fruits, crunchy granola and vanilla ice cream.
The dish was amazing with their fluffy pancakes and everything combined was just yummy!
creamy vanilla ice cream with maple syrup balanced with the acidic and fresh fruits.
Would love a bit more of the coulis since the coulis was a bit toned down since it was placed at the bottom of the pancakes and sort of absorbed into the last pancakes.
Truly simple dish done well.
Overall, the foods are amazing!
The service was quick and excellent. The place can accommodate a medium size group indoor and also offers some seating at their cute backyard too.
Definitely a good hangout place to catch up in South East area.
Note: We’d like to say thank you to ChiChi House’s team for having us.
