Continuing on our first stop and invitation from Box Hill Central, It was around 9.30 PM and we decided to find other restaurants that were still open on Friday.
When we’re having a stroll, we smelt mala tang from distance … Sniff! Sniff!
That tasty smell coming from Little Sichuan by Dainty Sichuan which brought us to our next destination.
The self service hotpot has become so popular and a trend in Melbourne, we believe few years ago it was only 1 restaurant who was the pioneer of this concept.
Now days, you easily bump up the similar ma la tang concept anywhere you go around Melb CBD.
Dainty is one of the well known Sichuan Chinese if you like hanging out around China Town CBD. Therefore, we have confidence when we visitied Little Sichuan knowing that this restaurant owned by Dainty.
Step 1. Take the empty bowl and thongs
Step 2. Choose anything that you like from the refrigerator (vegetables, seafood, meats, tofu, noodles and others)
Step 3. Choose the type (dried or soup) and level of spiciness
They’ll simply weigh and calculate the price ~ $34.80.
We order the dried one (0.692 x $34.80/kg) and spent $24.08;
Honestly, it wasn’t the best experience but the taste was definitely above the average.
You can add this place as your supper spot after 9.30 PM in Box Hill Central!
Now we still had $7.82 to spend! Bobba…. but which one?? Let’s see in our next review
