Henry’s Burger, Fitzroy (Invited)

Recently, we’ve finished watching Game Changers Movie , It’s the movie about a quest of a martial art guy to find the truth about meat. He did a showcase by traveling around the world to proof that you can get much more benefits (same amount of quantity of protein / more) for being a plant-based eater.
Right timing and we’re so glad to get invitation from Henry’s Burger (plant-based burger) and it’ll be our first experience to find out about the Vegan Burger.

Henry’s Burger located in the heart of Fitzroy on the busy 275 Brunswick Street. The burger spot was quite spacious, the decoration was nice and green 🙂
We’re both plant lover, thus we’re so in love to look around this burger spot while waiting our order. The atmosphere and vibe were so comfortable.
The customer staffs were so friendly and knowledgeable.
Henry’s Burger can be your “Go to” place when you want to find a late snacks or supper as they open everyday from 11 AM – 11 PM.

Arrived in front of the counter, we ordered the following drinks, sides and burgers:

  • Housemade Lemonade
  • Spiritualitea Root Chakra Ice Tea
  • Nuggets (4pcs)
  • Henry’s BBQ fries
  • Henry’s Original
  • Schnitzroy

Housemade Lemonade and Spiritualitea Root Chakra Ice Tea.
Spiritualitea Root Chakra Ice Tea presentation was very exotic with the red color matching with the nice Cinnamon fragrant used and fresh taste. This drink is really nice for you to enjoy on any seasons.

Nuggets (4pcs) with smokey BBQ seasoning and Henry’s BBQ fries.
We’re so impressed with their plant-based Nuggets. Initially, we’re so sceptical about the nuggets cause it didn’t look special on the outside. It was like any other typical nugget; However, the taste was absolutely great; It was perfectly deep fried and wasn’t greasy.
Honestly, this nugget gave us a new revelation to acknowledge that the plant-based nuggets MUCH MUCH BETTER that the non-plant-based one.
We didn’t feel guilty of harming the animal when eating this nugget.
The fries was also impeccable matching up with their homemade Smoke BBQ seasoning. Again, they managed to cooked it well, it was not greasy; They were crisp and crunchy on the outside, it wasn’t dry inside.

Henry’s Original – Moving mountains pattie, ketchup, lettuce, vheddar, pickles and special sauce.
Moving on with their original recommended by the friendly customer staff. It’s their signature burger and we surely had high expectation on this burger.
It turned out that we liked the plant-based patty. It was tender, soft and taste wasn’t too strong comparing to normal meat based patty.
Everything was perfectly executed and each components compliment each other.

Schnitzroy – Southern fried pretender-loin, lettuce, pickles, vheddar and white BBQ.
Another signature burger that you MUST try is Schnitzroy. The plant-based “Southern fried pretender-loin” was perfectly deep fried; It was crispy and crunchy on the outside, inside it wasn’t dry.
Everything was perfectly seasoned, we’ll come back to have this burger again when we’re around this area.

Overall, it was a pleasant first experience having plant-based burger @Henry’s Burger Fitzroy.

Note: We’d like to say thank you to Henry Burger’s team for having us.
