We’re glad to be invited by The Espressonist team to have food experience.
The cafe/restaurant has both indoor and outdoor spots. The weather was so nice when weon the weekend, thus we opted to the outdoor spot to get good lightning for our photo **as an excuse LOL. Actually, we wanted to enjoy the harbor view while sipping our coffee.
The customer staffs were so friendly and attentive.
The atmosphere and vibe at Espressonist were cosy and comfortable.
For the drinks, we ordered:
The coffee had a balance taste and served warm. The taste was pleasant, absolutely spot on.
The badge “Specialty Coffee” is legit!!
- Antiox (Cold pressed organic apple, passionfruit, raspberry & rhubarb)
- Blue Moon (Cold pressed apple, pineapple, lemon, blue spirulina)
Both cold press juices were so colorful and very instagramable. Not only nicely presented, the taste was also refreshing and nice.
We’ve been eyeing their Chorizo Potato Benedict (chorizo, spinach, poached egg, hollandaise) and Wagyu Beef Patty (burger sauce, pickles, onion ring) + Naughty Fries (kimchi slaw, chilli, coriander). The Wagyu Beef Patty is a MUST to try and it’s one of their signature dishes.
The Wagyu Beef Patty was beautifully presented, on top were two perfectly cooked onion rings. On the side, we had Naughty Fries which were seasoned well and cooked perfectly.
It’s a fusion Asian Style toppings using cut chilli, fresh coleslaw and fried shallots on top of typical fried fries. Surprisingly, it worked pretty well!
The beef patty was juicy, seasoned well and perfectly grilled. You could opt for medium-rare if you wish but they’ll serve a well done beef patty by default.
The brioche bun was also freshly served and had a perfect crisp on the edge.
It’s a simple dish, yet every single component was perfectly executed by The Espressonist kitchen team. They totally nailed this dish.
Decent size and great taste, what else? Definitely a recommended dish for you to order!!
The next one was Chorizo Potato Benedict. It was nicely presented with two perfectly cooked poached eggs glazed with hollandaise sauce.
The vegetable was spot on, not overcooked and seasoned well.
From our opinion, the portion was slightly too small comparing to other dishes we ordered.
In addition to that, it’s very unfortunate to find out the main star of the dish (chorizo) was slightly dry inside though it was seasoned well.
Last but not least, we had French Toast served with berries, maples and vanilla ricotta.
It was AMAZING!!! The bread was toasted well and plated beautifully.
The Sweet Tooth dish wasn’t too overwhelming and wasn’t too heavy which made us so happy and not struggling to finish off this this.
Note: We’d like to say thank you to The Espressonist’s team for having us.
