Burgertory offers a unique, colourful and creative burger options along with their tagline “Baked with Honesty, Love and Respect”. Before discussing further about their burgers, please allow us to share little bit story about Burgertory. Burgertory opened its door in September 2017, it takes only 3 years for them to open two more branches.
Burgertory has 3 shops located in Braybrook, Kensington and Footscray. We’re so excited to be invited by Burgertory team to have food experience.
We went to Kensington branch which is located in 190 Bellair St just few minutes walking distance from Kensington Station.
This cute burger shop was well fitted and you have options to have indoor or outdoor dine in.
The customer staff was friendly. The vibe and atmosphere were so comfortable.
You’ll be fascinated by looking at how colorful bun options that they have: Traditional Brioche (yellow), Charcoal Brioche (black), Beetroot Brioche (red) and Spinach & Kale Brioche (green).
In addition to that, it’s very interesting to see their burger menu.
Burger 7 Deadly Sins: Pride, Greed, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Envy (Vegetarian), Sloth (Vegetarian)
Archangel Chapter II: The Beast, Daniel, Jonah, Ibrahim, Hash (Vegetarian), Zadkiel (Vegetarian)
- Burger 7 Deadly Sins – The Beast (2x Wagyu Beef, 2x American Cheese, Mac & Cheese Croquette, Egg, Caramelised Onion, Pickles, Tomato Relish, Charcoal Bun)
Gems were perfectly deep fried and well seasoned. It was generously served, crispy on the outside and cooked well inside.
The burger was beautifully presented as expected from this burger specialty shop. We would definitely guarantee you that you’ll be full just by having this burger.
Everything was served generously and simply well executed. It’s one of the great burgers we’ve ever tried; Surely, we would love to come back to try other burgers. Actually, I am thinking about having their Ibrahim LOL….
- Archangel Chapter II – Hash (grilled mushroom, butter lettuce, roasted capsicum, red onion, aioli, spinach & kale brioche bun
+ Onion Rings
Again, they never fail to deliver their sides. The onion rings were amazing, they’re perfectly deep fried. They’re so crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside.
They totally nailed this burger, everything was just perfect. Love the appealing color of their vegetarian bun.
Mushroom were freshly served and it’s nicely grilled. All components inside this burger compliment each other. Loved this one too 🙂
- Waffles – with Golden Gaytime, Nutella, Oreo, Strawberry.
Our expectation of this final dessert was right on the top. It came with the nice and appealing presentation as our previous dishes.
Unfortunately, we noticed that everything was too sweet. The ice cream itself was creamy and sweet. It’s being over-powered by the sweetness coming from waffles with chocolate toppings, Nutella and Oreo.
Luckily, there were strawberry to tone down little bit of the sweetness though it wasn’t enough. Otherwise, this dish would be super sweet and heavy.
It would be such an amazing dish If they can tone down the sweetness.
It’s quite an effort to us to come to this place and we have no regret to drive from South Eastern Suburb to here cause we definitely had amazing time.
We’d definitely come back to this place when we’re around this suburb.
Note: We’d like to say thank you to Burgertory’s team for having us.
