Kew is an inner suburb of Melbourne, Australia, 5 km east from Melbourne’s Central Business District. Its local government area is the City of Boroondara.
At the 2016 Census, Kew had a population of 24,605.
Kew used to be a city in its own right. But in 1994 the cities of Kew, Hawthorn and Camberwell were amalgamated to form the City of Boroondara.
The suburb borders the Yarra River to the west and north, with Hawthorn to its south and Balwyn to its east.

Hiatus, Kew (Invited)
Hiatus cafe located in the busy High street closed to Kew Junction.
Perfectly situated with the easy access using public transport and private vehicles.
They offer healthy option of the brunch dishes with reasonable price (nothing is over $20.00), unique dishes and great quality; thus you might not see mainstream brunch dishes such as, big breakfast or other meaty dishes.
This doesn’t mean that they’ve neglected the meat lovers, they do serve meaty dish in the limited options.
The idea makes Hiatus stand out among other brunch cafes.
Miss Kasumi, Kew (Invited)
The restaurant stategically situated in the heart of Kew on High Street.
Though it’s newly opened couple months back, this contemporary Japanese restaurant has successfully impressed us through their food and customer service up to the professional standard.
We went there on the weekday and it was raining, not a good weather;
surprisingly the place was still busy, surely they’ve won Melbournians’ heart and neighbourhood.
