Steer Dining Room, South Yarra

On that day the weather in Melbourne wasn’t too friendly. It was windy, cold and raining in the morning.
TGIF, so much better despite the crappy weather. Guess what? Our day turned to be so fascinating cause we received the last minute notification that we won on a raffle dinner run by @forksake for a 6-course ‘secondary cuts’ Diamonds dining.
It’s the degustation dinner for two matched with wines from @tellurianwinesheathcote, the venue’s located not far where we live on Claremont Street, South Yarra 🙂
We’re both excited and had a wonderful dinner on that day.

Hui Lau Shan, Melb CBD (Invited)

Hui Lau Shan opened its first store in Australia in the busy Elizabeth St in Melbourne CBD.
This Hong Kong chain is famous for its prominent use of mango in their diverse range of drinks and desserts – from ice cream balls, mochi balls, sago and soup desserts.
You surely won’t miss this shop with bright yellow sign from the outside. The shop is located right beside claw machines arcade with cute decorations.
We almost mistaken that they are the same shops.

Okra is considered as a pioneer and mature semi fine dining restaurant located in one of the most popular suburbs in Melbourne, Hawthorn since 2001.
They offer Thai, Malaysian, and Indonesian dishes into an irresistible Southeast Asian dishes.
All dishes are prepared expertly and meticulously by head chef Michael Tiu.
