Recently, we’ve finished watching Game Changers Movie , It’s the movie about a quest of a martial art guy to find the truth about meat. He did a showcase by traveling around the world to proof that you can get much more benefits (same amount of quantity of protein / more) for being a plant-based eater.
Right timing and we’re so glad to get invitation from Henry’s Burger (plant-based burger) and it’ll be our first experience to find out about the Vegan Burger.

Located conveniently near Melbourne Hospital and Melbourne University, Bobby Dre’s becomes one of the local favorites to hangout. They offer various burgers and also healthy yummy tacos to choose from. The place has plenty of on the road parking spaces just in front of the restaurants. It is also very close to tram stop 57. Bean Smuggler, Point Cook (Invited)
It is one of the rare occasions @what.epi.eats travels to West side of Melbourne and when we do, it was always full of pleasant surprises. This time we came to Bean Smuggler in the outer western suburb of Point Cook.
This humble cafe is very spacious and offers ranges of very interesting brunch dishes. Truly love the wide variety of choices in the menu and definitely you can see that this is not just your typical brunch place.
It is hard not to feel welcome here, especially with a warm welcome and comfortable ambience.
Temperance Society, Hughesdale (Invited)
Temperance Society is a brunch cafe opened in 2016 taken a spot of the old milk bar and transformed to a cool and vibrant cafe loved by locals and neighborhood.
They also offer an array of creative and interesting brunch dishes and drinks;

Golden Gai, Windsor (Invited)
Golden Gai is a young and vibrant Japanese authentic restaurant / bar which is newly opened to add diversity along the busy and “go to” Chapel St, Windsor.
In Japan, Shinjuku Golden Gai is a small area of Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan which is famous for the unique architectural design and nightlife.
Here, they bring the look and feel also the vibe to mimic the original Shinjuku Golden Gai area.
Jann’s Choice, South Yarra (Invited)
Jann’s Choice is a newly established cute dessert shop tucked away from the busy Toorak Road.
The location is easily accessible both by public transport (tram few meters away and 3 mins walking distance from South Yarra station) and private vehicle.
We’re glad that there is a unique and distinct dessert shop specialty in bird nest open in South Yarra.
Treehouse Lounge, Balaclava (Invited)
Treehouse Lounge is a spacious modern looking cafe located in the heart of Balaclava, on the corner of Carlisle Street, Balaclava.
They offer variety of typical brunch dishes in addition to some other interesting Mediterranean style menu and side dishes.
We’re excited to visit and couldn’t wait to find out how good their food is.
Mister Margherita, South Melbourne (Invited)
Mister Margherita located in Park Street just couple minutes after the Domain Interchange Tram Stop. A small yet cozy with its own edge pizzeria that offers full range of pizza from the traditional pizza, calzone and their delicious garlic focaccia all made fresh in house. During our visit, the restaurant was flooded with online orders and also visitors and we certainly know why.
Little Sichuan by Dainty Sichuan, Box Hill
Continuing on our first stop and invitation from Box Hill Central, It was around 9.30 PM and we decided to find other restaurants that were still open on Friday.
When we’re having a stroll, we smelt mala tang from distance … Sniff! Sniff!
That tasty smell coming from Little Sichuan by Dainty Sichuan which brought us to our next destination. Continue reading

Box Hill Central has become the icon, hang out spot and “meeting point” place when you’re around Box Hill suburb. This place is an urban Asian dining hub where you can find more than 50 restaurants spreading from North Precinct and South Precinct of Box Hill Central.
